Privacy policy
This website collects the data you send us through the contact form and, if you accept measurement cookies, aggregated data about visits. Here we explain who processes it, why, for how long and how you can exercise your rights.
Who processes the data
The data controller is Nuno Marques, owner of the oMangue brand. For any question about your data, write to hello@omangue.com.
What data we collect
When you write to us through the contact form, we receive:
- Name and email, required so that we can reply.
- Organisation, if you provide it.
- The message you write.
If you write to us directly at hello@omangue.com, we handle your address and the content of the email in the same way. Please do not include sensitive data, such as health data, in your message.
What we use it for
We use the form data only to reply to your request and, if you ask, to prepare a proposal. We do not use it for newsletters or advertising, and we do not sell it to anyone.
The legal basis is the consent you give in the form checkbox (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). When the contact leads to a proposal, we also process the data for the pre-contractual steps you requested (point (b)).
Visit measurement data helps us understand which pages are useful and improve the website. It is aggregated and we do not use it to identify you. The legal basis is the consent you give in the cookie notice, which you can withdraw at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep messages for 12 months after the last contact and then delete them. If the request leads to a project, the data then follows the contract and the retention periods required by law.
Who we share it with
Only with suppliers that process the data on our behalf, under contract and for these purposes only:
- Receipt of form messages: FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which forwards them to our email.
- Email: the hello@omangue.com inbox, where we receive and reply to messages.
- Visit measurement: Google Analytics, by Google Ireland Limited, only if you accept measurement cookies.
Some of these suppliers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In those cases, the transfer is made with the safeguards provided for in the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
External services
To display the website, your browser loads the fonts from Google’s servers (Google Fonts) and the archive videos on the home page from Wikimedia Commons. These services receive your IP address and your browser’s technical data, as with any request on the internet.
Google Analytics is only loaded if you accept measurement cookies.
Cookies and visit measurement
We use cookies only to measure visits, with Google Analytics, and only if you accept in the notice shown on your first visit. If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded and no cookies are stored.
We also store in your browser, without cookies, your cookie choice and the site language and, only during your visit, whether you have already seen the opening animation, so it does not repeat, and whether you are moving between pages, for the page transition. This information is never sent to us.
You can change your choice at any time.
Your rights
You can ask at any time for access to your data, its correction or its deletion. You can also restrict or object to processing, request portability and withdraw your consent, without affecting processing carried out up to that date.
Just write to hello@omangue.com. We reply within one month at most.
If you believe your data has not been handled properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.
Changes
We may update this policy when the website or the law changes. The date at the top of the page shows the version in force. The company details are in the Legal information.
